Area Code 530 Information and Location Details

Called my cell phone and hung up when I answered.

Caller ID = "POLITICALCALL." Robocaller for bogus police charity.

Yeah, damn spoofer scumbags. I think that if you catch it while it's still ringing, and hit the blocker button, it will block the 'real' number. Dunno for sure but that's what I try to do. Maybe if somebody who sees these posts and knows, they can enlighten us... :)

Called this number back. A recording came in stating that this phone number had been hacked and sorry for the inconvenience. This is the second phone number that has been hacked.

We received a call from this number yesterday.

Robocaller with Caller ID of POLITICAL CALL. I did my usual, 'how may I help you(?)", and got a dead silence, then they hung up on me. When I called back using *67, it answers, goes dead for several seconds, and then busy. These cowards hide behind a caller ID of political call, but MANY numbers are set up to do the same thing. Not that it helps, but I report them here.

Constantly calls

A robocall SCAM. When I called back using *67 to protect my privacy, silence for a long time, then a busy signal. Again, SCAM suspected.

I forget on my last post, Caller ID says POLITICAL CALL, that could be anything, and did not respond to hellos. I know political calls are exempt, but courtesy says they should respond to hellos. Chances are, they will not call again.

No caller ID name, always a red flag. I answered, nobody was there. Heard a honking noise of the type emitted by telemarketing systems, but that was all.
