Why You Don’t See Celebrities on Tinder?

Why You Don’t See Celebrities on Tinder?

Why You Don’t See Celebrities on Tinder?

Are you new to Tinder and wondering where all the hot people are? Not just normal, ordinary hot people either. Hot people like Chris Pratt, Natalie Portman, or Ashton Kutcher?

Well, those celebs are married, so you won’t be finding them on Tinder anytime soon (and if you have, it’s probably not real). Brad Pitt is back on the market though, ladies. Or gentlemen, if you’re into that. No discrimination here!

While there could be many reasons why Leonardo DiCaprio isn’t sliding into your right swipes, barrons.com has given us a look into something we never knew existed before: a hidden version of Tinder for Hollywood’s single and elite. Here are three reasons why you can’t swipe right for Swift:

1. You Can’t Sit With Us:

In order to have fun with Dave Franco, you have to be invited to use the service. You can get that coveted invitation in two different ways. The first being that you’re a famous actor, a rich CEO, a supermodel, etc.

Don’t despair if you’re not there yet because you can actually be invited through a friend’s nomination or the almighty Tinder Gods themselves see how well you’re doing on their service and extend their hand to sweep you away to your newly gilded Nirvana.

2. The Size of the Boat, Not the Motion of the Ocean:

In order to keep the bloodlines pure, Tinder Select only—wait, that’s Game of Thrones. No, the real reason is to make sure that there’s only so many people swiping right or left at a time.

This sounds mean, but think of it this way: imagine being invited to a party, but instead of there being a few close friends, it’s just everyone. Suddenly you can’t talk to your friends because there’s too much noise. There are too many people to have a good time. That’s the thought behind Tinder Select. It’s not elitist. It’s elite-r.

3. Proto-typical

As it stands now, Tinder Select is still in its infancy. Whether that’s because celebrities are too busy to use it or prefer to meet people the old fashioned way, we’ll never know.

Either way, it’s all in a good night’s fantasy to find and meet Justin Beiber or Jennifer Lawrence on Tinder. If you really want to get a sparkly confetti-filled Tinder Select invitation in your mailbox, it’s never too late to flex those fingers and start becoming a good swiper. So pour yourself a glass of wine and start looking!
