The holiday season 2020 is among us, and as we are dealing with the coronavirus pandemic, more and more people are shopping online for their beloved products. However, scammers know just how popular online shopping is this holiday season and are coming up with fake websites to deceive heartbroken customers. In this article, we will be going over online holiday store reviews to let you know whether or not you can trust certain holiday online stores.
EngravedStore and Engraved-Gifts
Rating:
Scammers have created these two websites to scam their customers out of money. EngravedStore has been known to create faulty products for their customers in exchange for a hefty price. They have also waited three whole months before shipping their products out to customers!
Along with EngravedStore, Engraved-Gifts has also been known to take customers’ money without sending any product to their customers. Many customers have complained that this website has taken their money without their promised Christmas gift to show for it. While they might have a “Contact Us” section, don’t even bother contacting them. The customers that have tried were left disappointed when the only email they got back in reply informed them that the email entered was invalid.
Also when you reverse search an image of one of their products, the image comes up on multiple websites. This means that it isn’t unique to the online store, and the product image was probably stolen from a legit store that actually sells them.
Fulfill Gift
Rating:
I give this a two-star rating because while customers have complained about the long wait, there have also been reports of receiving the item in perfect condition. While it may not be reliable for rush shopping during the holiday season, it might be useful if you see something cute that you could wait two months for.
It has also been reported that they never reply to emails and send the wrong products consistently. If something doesn’t fit or you’re not satisfied with your order, it’s almost impossible to exchange or return it. Their traffic is slow and their social media pages seem to be new and abandoned. Overall, I recommend trying this website at your own risk.

NestGifts.Net
Rating:
I didn’t even give this site a one-star review. As soon as I entered the site, I got a bunch of fake pop-ups on the site. The second time I tried to enter the website, it claims that no one has bought the domain and has supposed “related links” on the site. I don’t know if someone took the site down or if this is their clever phishing link trick where you click on a link and it steals your information, but I would stay away from it.
Gift Nuggit
Rating:
I give this website a one-star review because after trying to find customer reviews, I couldn’t even find one. I ran an image search on one of their products, and 54 websites are using the same image claiming they sell the product.
While the Google Transparency report claimed that the site was safe, the BBB didn’t know what Gift Nuggit was. The safety and legitimacy of this website are unknown, so I would approach this online store at your own risk.
Way Up Gifts
Rating:
I couldn’t find many customer reviews, but I did find some on the BBB. Many customers reported slow delivery times, wrong products, and delayed customer service. The only method to contact Way Up Gifts is through email, which means slow reply rate when there are questions about orders.
While it does seem like this site is legit and they do list products on Amazon, I would still order at your own risk because you don’t know when your product will get shipped to you or if you would even get the right product. There have also been instances where people have gotten lower-quality items than they expected. Therefore I gave it an average rating because it’s a legit site, but poor service.
Our Verdict
Overall, I do not recommend any of the listed websites. If you want to guarantee that you get your Christmas gifts for your loved ones just in time for Christmas, I recommend shopping on well-known websites such as Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, Target, and other well-known stores.
While it might be fun to try out new and trendy online stores, it is always a good idea to shop smart and look for customer online holiday store reviews beforehand. If you can’t find any, this is a giant red flag since you don’t know if you’ll be getting your product, or when you will be getting your product.
Social Catfish is Here to Help You
If you’re still confused as to whether or not an online holiday store is safe, Social Catfish is here to help you! We are able to reverse search anyone’s name, email address, phone number, social media username, address, or image to see if the website you are on is legit.
Social Catfish’s Reverse Image Search is AMAZING!
As you saw in a few of these results, I personally loved using Social Catfish’s image search function to see if these websites were legit. All I did was take a screenshot of the product in question and put it into our reverse image search.
Once I saw that the product was on multiple websites, I knew immediately the picture was stolen and closed out of the website. This helped me a lot, and I know it will help you too, especially if you can’t find online holiday store reviews!
